In Five Years: A Novel by Rebecca Serle is the first book that has really caught my attention during this quarantine time.  This book delivered and once I started, I was immersed into the story and really enjoyed this book.  This book was not what I expected and I think that added to me enjoying this story even more. This book has friendship, romance, grief, and depth that was very well done. What have you been reading this week?

The Art Of Friendship

04D0650A-C094-40BB-810F-480DBF95CE42

The Art Of Friendship by Kim Wier is a new Christian non-fiction book about friendship. The author shares examples from her own life about when friendships end and how to develop friendships. This book explains ways for yourself to be a true friend instead of just looking for others to be your friend.  The author uses the Bible as a tool that gives insight into what true friendship looks like. I know this is a struggle that a lot of women face especially after they have kids and their lives change and you become busy with your family. Then one day you look around and realize your friendships have changed. I would encourage women that desire stronger friendships to read this book.

Thank you to Bethany House Publishers for this review copy.
